Regalia - 6 yo Black Bay 15.3HH Tb Mare -
Regalia is an absolutely lovely, gorgeous, kind mare. This girl is so versatile she would make an excellent eventer, hunter, foxhunter, pony club, or open show prospect. She is going nicely over 2"3': fences and is very tidy, agreeable and easy. Her canter is amazing - a big stride, an excellent galloping canter with an attractive strong leading leg - Eventing gallop! Her gaits are stunning also for dressage as she just has 'pizzazz'. She likes to trail ride and has done well schooling at Hitchcock Woods in Aiken. She is good for the farrier and has a great foundation of Natural Horsemanship. She is a very cute mover at all gaits and her demeanour is so pleasant - curious, bold and very personable. She did race but was not fast enough - she has clean legs and is sound. She will be ready to compete starting with some schooling shows to gain experience and will be ready and able for you to continue to bring her along!! Asking $8500

Hunt, Event or Dressage -
"Mercy" is a 16.1 hd, 7 y/o Perch/TB mare. Absolutely NOT marish. Mercy is currently hunting in 2nd field with the Bear Creek Hounds. Easy, easy, easy! Great brakes, stands quietly at checks, doesn't get flustered with field reverses, super with the hounds. This flashy mare is also schooling training level dressage; she has really nice gaits, and is easy to collect. Mercy has been started over fences and eagerly jumps what ever is in front of her. Quiet to the fences and very careful. She's already schooling coops, and has potential to make a great 1st field horse. Her ability isn't limited to the hunt field though, she'd also make a really great dressage horse or low level eventer. Mercy has the quiet sensibility of a draft, but has the speed and stamina of the TB. Not spooky, great on trail rides alone or in company. No vices. www.youtube.com/watch?v=duVWw-W4-98. $12,500.
Fancy, Safe Child's Pony -
Brookside Spiffy Girl. Purebred Welsh pony mare. Extremely sweet and safe. Loves kids and knows her job. Spiffy has shown successfully in the hunter ring, bringing home ribbons in leadline, walk/halt-walk/trot, and the crossrail division. Brought home Reserve Champion in a competitive crossrail division her first time out. Has been shown by children from ages 5-12. Currently is eventing, foxhunting and participating in pony club with a 10 year old. She attended her first 3-phase show in October and won the Amoeba division on her dressage score of 30. Spiffy is currently hunting with Bear Creek Hounds and has hunted in 2nd & 3rd fields. Does everything in a snaffle! Kind and quiet enough for a rank beginner, yet is game for a more adventurous child. She does not buck, rear or bolt. Absolutely no vices. Is NOT marish. Clips (face, ears, body, you name it), loads, ties, excellent for farrier/vet. www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJ7YO7hQ0WE.
Quite Hunt or Event Horse -
"Cash" is a 5 y/o Perch/Appendix gelding. He stands at 16 hds and is still growing. He is finishing up his first season of foxhunting with the Bear Creek Hounds. I purchased Cash as my husband's mount because of his quiet mind and easy going nature, unfortunately my husband took a new job and doesn't have time to ride. Cash has safely carried my husband in the field, but has been trained and tuned by a professional. He is also schooling training level dressage, and has been started over fences. He really enjoys jumping, and is very brave to the fences. Schooling BN. He would be capable of being a 1st field horse when he's more mature, and more solidified in his over fences training. Great stamina, keep up with the TB's! Very easy keeper. Wears a size 3 shoe but only has fronts. Loads and trailers well. Ties. Clips. Good for farrier and vet. $10,000. www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOVaJSou93E.

Fun, very brave, low level horse -
15.1 hand, 2004, Percheron/QH mare. Brandy has an athletic sport-horse conformation and great disposition - everyone is shocked to hear she is half draft when they see her go around. She is excelling at the low levels and is perfect for an adult ammy who likes to be close to the ground and would like a very brave horse to give them confidence over fences. Her dressage is progressing well, she is smart and willing. Brandy is successfully showing BN and schooling N. She loves XC and has never said “no”. She is a sensitive, forward ride and shares tack (besides bits and bell boots!) with owner’s 15.2 TB- not your typical draft cross! She is awesome on the ground, easy keeper, and rides in a snaffle for all 3 phases. Not mareish (REALLY!)! Brandy jumped clean at KY Classique and finished in second on her dressage (36.3) at MTPC. Fun ride, LOTS of personality! Price will increase with show miles and training! Located in Middle TN. Asking $6500/neg to the right home ONLY. Email for more information, lauren.romanelli@gmail.com. 01/13/10

Appy is currently being evented at novice level, qualifying the last two years for area three and for nationals this year. He has been schooled training and has the potential to go prelim. Appy is a powerful little jumper with a big heart and is as honest as he could be! He also has potential to be an extraordinary dressage pony or jumper. For more information, email grahamharsh@aol.com or call 205-612-5524. 01/10/10
Lovely TB Mare -
Emmy is a lovely, well-bred 2000 TB mare. She is dark bay with four white feet, standing just over 16h. She has recently been started under saddle after being used as a brood mare. She is gentle and quiet on the trails and is beginning light ring work. She is not at all marish and gets along with other geldings and mares. She has been a wonderful companion to my high strung competition horse, but I have too many. She is a straight and correct mover and with proper training might make a very nice lower level horse. She would also make a great hunt prospect. UTD on everything, good for vet/farrier/clipping/tying/mane pulling. She is currently priced at $3000, somewhat neg. Please e-mail Ashwickstablesgardens@yahoo.com for more information or pictures. 01/10/10
