FRAUD ALERTS -
Spammers use programs to read websites looking for email addresses. One way of preventing these programs "harvesting" an email address is to use the word "at" in place of the "@" sign. If you see an email using the word "at" you will need to manually type in the email address in order to respond to the poster.
 
Ads on this website have received fradulent offers. If you receive an email similiar to this one do not respond! Here's another example. Please use caution when responding to any email inquiries.
 
If you receive a cashier's check for more than your asking price with a request to cash the check and send the balance to a foreign address - BEWARE. These checks are usually fake. Also, do not respond to any email from areaiii@hotmail.com, or any other Area III or Area 3 address, that asks for personal or bank information. This is another Internet scam.

Classifieds Policy -
AREA 3 USEA MEMBERS - Text and photo classifieds are free for Area 3 residents who are USEA members. You must live in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, eastern Louisiana, Tennessee or S. Carolina and the item must be your personal property. Include your USEA number in your ad submission. To place an ad simply click on the "Submit Ad" (above) and enter the requested information EXACTLY as you wish it to appear. Sale/lease ads will run for two months. Services ads will remain for four months. If you wish the ad to run again, send renewal request BEFORE EXPIRATION to areaIII@hotmail.com. After expiration please resubmit. Use the "Remove Ad" to have the item removed before its expiration. We will post ONE picture with each item. Clicking on the posted picture will bring up a larger view. Please send the picture in .jpg or .gif format to areaIII@hotmail.com. The Submit Ad has an ad title, use this title as the subject of your email. NON-AREA 3 RESIDENT OR NON-USEA MEMBER - Ads up to 200 characters are $10; each additional 100 characters are $5. Photos are $10 per photo. Sale/lease ads will run for two months. Services ads will remain for four months. Make check payable to "USEA Area III" and mail to Diana Lewis, 4428 Happy Valley Circle, Newnan, GA 30263. Ads may be submitted online, emailed to areaIII@hotmail.com or mailed with payment. Ads will not be posted until payment is received. All proceeds go directly to the Area 3 account and used to support Area 3 activities.
Services Directory Policy:
Ads are limited to a 2 x 3.5 inch space (roughly equal in size to a standard business card). Ads will be accepted only from businesses connected to the equine industry (e.g. farriers, feed and tack, sports therapy, horse transport, jump building, realtors specializing in equine facilities, etc.) and doing business within the Area 3 states (Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, eastern Louisiana, S. Carolina, and Tennessee). Send your business card as an email file attachment to areaIII@hotmail.com or mail to Diana Lewis, 4428 Happy Valley Circle, Newnan, GA 30263. If no business card available, send text and/or digital image of information you desire to have posted. AREA 3 USEA MEMBERS - Advertisement space is free for Area 3 residents who are USEA members. You must live in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, eastern Louisiana, Tennessee or S. Carolina and include your USEA number in your ad submission. Ads can be renewed via email. OTHERS - For non-Area 3 members or non-USEA members the cost is $30 for 6 months, or $50 for 12 months.
