Debbie's insurance covered much of her hospital care. However, little of her
outpatient and rehabilitation will be covered.
She has purchased a van that will be her transportation. She can move about using a breath tube connected to her wheelchair
and ramps have been added to her home. She has a voice activated computer.
Nursing care (techs able to aid with a
ventilator patient) will be necessary 24-7. Medical supplies and equipment will constantly need to be replenished.
Ongoing therapeutic and physical therapy services are required, but not covered by her insurance.
Little assistance has been located through the state.
